Sudarsan selected for Italian golden sand art award

Bhubaneswar: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has been selected for Italian golden sand art award 2019.

Sudarsan will be felicitated during the international sand nativity at Italy which will be held from November 13 to 18.

Pattnaik will represent India in international Scorrana sand nativity. As many as eight sculptors will participate in this festival.

“I am very glad to know that I am selected for this award. I feel very honoured to be part of this festival,” said Sudarsan.

So far, Padma awardee sand artist Sudarsan has participated in more than 60 international sand art festivals and championships around the world and won many prizes for the country.

He always tries to send social message through his sand sculpture. IANS
