New Delhi: Jamia University authorities have lodged a FIR on the police assault on the campus that took place on December 15 after the protest against NRC and CAA turned violent in the area.
However, Jamia Administration has denied any involvement of its students in the violence and said the police entry in the campus was unwarranted and without permission.
According to Chief Proctor Prof. Waseem A. Khan, a complaint has been sent to SHO, Jamia Nagar PS with a copy to DCP,South East, CP,Delhi to register FIR on 15 Dec.2019 incident in the university.
