Jawed Ashraf is India’s New Ambassador to France

New Delhi: Senior diplomat Jawed Ashraf has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to France.

An ITS officer of the 1991 batch, Ashraf is presently High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Singapore, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a release here.

Earlier, he worked in senior positions at MEA and PMO in New Delhi. His foreign postings include, US, Germany and Nepal.
