Covid-19: Delhi reports second death; India’s toll 10

New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that a second death has been reported owing to coronavirus in Delhi, taking the death toll in India to 10.

The Ministry in its bulletin at 8.15 p.m. said that there are 469 active cases at present in India, including foreign nationals. So far, 476 Indians and 43 foreign nationals have tested positive for the dreaded virus in the country, as per the ministry data.

“A total of 39 people have been cured of the virus in India so far,” the ministry said.

Delhi and Maharashtra have reported two deaths each so far, while Bihar, Punjab, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka have reported one each coronavirus related death, as per the Health Ministry data. IANS
