Air France to start Chennai-Paris flights from June 14

New Delhi: Air France is expanding its Indian network to include Chennai with thrice weekly direct services to Paris Charles de Gaulle starting from June 14, bringing up more opportunities for travel from India to the world.

These flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 279 seats (30 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 228 in Economy class).

Currently Air France operates flights from Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru.

Speaking about the new route, Mr. Jean – Noel Rault, General Manager, Air France – KLM, Indian Sub-Continent said, “We are delighted to be back in Chennai with the launch of direct services to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Chennai will be our fourth gateway in India and the second in South India. This start emphasizes the group’s commitment to further strengthen our presence in India. The thrice-weekly connection will open up more travel opportunities for the Indian customers and the new generation aircraft 787 Dreamliner will ensure a high – quality experience on board”

The flight will be available for sale by early March via the airline website https://www.airfrance.in/ and trade partners.

Flight AF 108 will depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle at 10:10 hours and arrive at Chennai International Airport at 23:30 hours.
Flight AF 107 will depart from Chennai International Airport at 01:05 hours and arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle at 08:00 hours.

Days of operation from Chennai are Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays during the summer season.
