Observe strict hygiene in sacrifice, and follow all Covid protocols, IMPAR appeals to Muslims ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

New Delhi: IMPAR (Indian Muslims for Progress and Reforms) has appealed to the community to oberve the coming festival of Eid-ul-Azha, keeping in view the Covid protocols issued by the Government, and it has especially suggested to them to buy the sacrificial animal online to avoid going to crowded mandis, and ensure hygienic disposal of waste as required by their religion.

In a statement issued here ahead of the festival, IMPAR also asked Muslims to avoid filming and sharing videos of the act of Qurbani on social media platforms, like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

The festival should be celebrated in a simple and austere manner, and amaz of Eid-ul-Azha should be offered at home as the third wave is expected and anticipated, the statement said.

It also appealed to Muslims to avoid physical contact, say no to social or religious gatherings/get-togethers.
