Agra: US President Donald Trump, who is on a two-day visit to India, on Monday walked hand in hand with his wife Melania Trump at the Taj Mahal here.
Tourist guide Nitin Kumar Singh guided Trump and his wife at the Taj Mahal. Trump was impressed with him and even took a selfie with Singh.
Singh briefed Trump and his family about the history of the Taj Mahal.
Sharing his experience of guiding Trump and his family at the historic monument, Singh told the mediapersons that he requested Trump for two things to which he agreed to only one.
Singh’s request to sit on the Diana bench at the Taj Mahal was turned down by Trump but he agreed to hold the hand of his wife while walking near the fountain.
Holding each other’s hands, Donald Trump and Melania took around 50-60 steps, photos of which have gone viral across the international media.
Singh said he kept behind while the US First couple was walking hand in hand to give them some privacy. After touring the Taj Mahal, Trump said thank you to Singh and took a selfie with him.
