BPCL launches Bharatgas Lite ZIP, says premium LPG service to expand to 100 more cities by August 15

New Delhi: State-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched Bharatgas Lite ZIP, a premium LPG offering aimed at providing customers with a faster, smarter and more convenient cooking gas experience.

The new service was launched by BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna in the presence of Director (Marketing) Subhankar Sen.

“BPCL has launched Bharatgas Lite ZIP, a premium LPG offering designed to deliver a faster, smarter and more convenient customer experience. The product was launched by Sanjay Khanna, Chairman & Managing Director, BPCL in the presence of Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), BPCL,” the company said in a social media post on X.

According to the company, Bharatgas Lite ZIP combines an instant new LPG connection facility with express delivery, enabling customers to access cooking gas services with greater speed and convenience.

The offering is built around BPCL’s lightweight Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder, which has been designed for easier handling and enhanced user convenience.

The cylinder features a corrosion-free body, a visible LPG level indicator that allows consumers to monitor the remaining gas, and enhanced safety features housed in a modern, ergonomic design.

“Combining Instant New Connection with Express Delivery, Bharatgas Lite ZIP is built around the lightweight Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder, offering easy handling, a corrosion-free body, visible LPG level, enhanced safety and a modern design. Designed for today’s fast-paced lifestyles, it delivers a seamless and premium LPG experience,” it added.

BPCL said the new offering has been developed to cater to the needs of today’s fast-paced lifestyles, delivering a seamless and premium LPG experience for households.

The service has been rolled out initially in Mumbai and will be expanded to 100 additional cities across 24 states by August 15, 2026.

The company said the phased expansion is aimed at extending the premium features and customer-centric experience of Bharatgas Lite ZIP to a larger number of consumers across the country.

“Launched initially in Mumbai, Bharatgas Lite ZIP will be expanded to 100 additional cities across 24 states by 15 August 2026, bringing its premium features and customer-first experience to more households across the country,” it noted.
