New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday ridiculed the Opposition parties for bringing a no- confidence motion against the government in the Lok Sabha saying they had only exposed their hallowness to the whole world.
The Prime Minister made the above remarks at the weekly meeting of the BJP parliamentary party in Parliament premises here.
Briefing reporters about the meeting, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar said Mr Modi while congratulating the Mps for the defeat of the motion on July 20, noted that the Oppotion parties’ move was without any preparation.
” The Prime Minister took swipe at the Opposition, saying the no-confidence motion was brought without any political understanding, numbers and preparation,” Mr Kumar said.
The Prime Minister in fact thanked the Opposition for the no-confidence motion which he said only exposed their hallowness, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said.
