Economy–Country’s wholesale inflation stood at 5.77% in June

New Delhi:Wholesale price-indexed (WPI) inflation in India during June stood at 5.77 per cent compared to 4.43 per cent in the previous month, official data showed here on Monday.
The inflation rate was 0.90% during the corresponding month of the previous year, the Commerce Ministry said in a release here.
The official Wholesale Price Index for ‘All Commodities’ (Base: 2011-12=100) for June rose by 1.1 percent to 119.2 (provisional) from 117.9 (provisional) for the previous month.
