Kim does not rule out using nuclear weapons

New Delhi: According to a Friday report from the official news agency KCNA, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared that his country would not think twice to use all of its offensive capabilities, including nuclear weapons, if the adversary tries to usurp its sovereignty via force.

During a military day event on Tuesday, Kim lambasted South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol for threatening to overthrow the North Korean regime, claiming that the comment demonstrated which side was undermining regional security and peace.

According to Kim, Yoon boasted of his massive military force response at the door of a state with nuclear weapons, and it was a huge irony that led to numerous feeling he was an unusual individual, as KCNA reported.

The DPRK would utilise all of its offensive forces, including its nuclear arsenal, without hesitation, he said, “should” the enemy, acting with utter stupidity and recklessness, try to employ armed forces to infringe on its sovereignty,” according to the agency.
