IMPAR felicitates individuals, organisations for their contributions in Covid-19 crisis

New Delhi: Indian Muslims for Progress and Reforms (IMPAR) has honoured those Muslim charity groups, help organisations, and philanthropists and social activists  who have have done exceptional work throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

Those whose work was recognised are Red Crescent Society of India headed by Arshad Siddiqui (Chairman), A R Welfare Foundation (Rajasthan- Jaipur) led by A. R Khan ( Retd IAS Officer), Helping Hand foundation headed by Mujtaba Hasan Askari (Founder Trustee), Jamaat e Islami HindJamiat Ulama-i-Hind Bangalore, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) headed by Jawahirullah, Dr.Taha Mateen, Sheeba Aslam Fehmi, Shaista Akhtar, Safa Baitul Maal and Sajad Khan.

They were felicitated at an award ceremony here on Sep 1.

IMPAR took a step to honour brave hearts as a mark of encouragement for them and also motivate others to participate in similar social action in future. The program was attended by the jury Mr. Salahuddin Ahmad (Former Chief Secretary of Rajasthan Jaipur) and Dr. Arshi Javaid (Media and Research Associate IMPAR), awardees and other guests.

”IMPAR thanked the COVID 19 heroes who have worked relentlessly irrespective of religion, caste and creed during the countrywide lockdown. IMPAR salutes their work and also honoured them with Certificates of Recognition,” the organisation of eminent Muslims said in a statement here.
