Jamia student’s paper on Delhi Govt’s education policies selected for international conference

New Delhi: Abstract of a JMI research scholar on Implication of Educational Policies of Delhi Government has been selected for International Conference at Hong Kong-

The abstract titled “Addressing Ine quality through Inclusive Policy: Implication of Educational Policies of Delhi Government” authored by Minhaj Akram, a research scholar enrolled at Department of Social Work, JMI and co-authored by Mohd Zakir Riyaz and Dr. Ashvini Kumar Singh has been selected for an International Conference on Change and Innovation for a Better World: The Future of Social Work Profession scheduled to be held on 27th-29th June 2019 at the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. It is being organized by Hong Kong Social Work Association.

The Scientific Committee of the conference has chosen the abstract among six finalists for the “Best Student Presentation Award” category. In its continuation, Minhaj is expected to deliver an 8-minute presentation followed by 2-minute Q&A session on 27th June 2019 at Grand Hall, Hong Kong University.

Minhaj is a research scholar enrolled since December 2017 at Department of Social Work, JMI. He is enrolled under Dr. Ashvini Kumar Singh who is guiding him on his research topic titled “Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Category children in Private Schools: Challenges and Prospects (A study on the children studying in private schools of Delhi)”.
